Josiah Groff

Founder & Executive Director

Josiah Groff leads the organization’s vision, strategy, and growth while working closely with the volunteers, partners, and staff who make the mission possible. A lifelong player and coach, Josiah’s passion for soccer deepened through cross-cultural experiences and service opportunities around the world, where he saw firsthand the unique ability of the game to build connection and create opportunity for youth. He holds a degree in Business Administration and has lived and served internationally, including two years in Juarez, Mexico.

Those experiences continue to shape his leadership and global perspective. Josiah is especially passionate about seeing young people from diverse backgrounds experience the positive influence of soccer clubs and meaningful mentorship. He and his wife, Casi, and three kids live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he enjoys fishing, sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Director of Programs

Joel Graham

Joel Graham oversees the development and onboarding of new programs while supporting relationships with Big Picture Soccer’s growing network of international partners. Joel first became involved with BPS as a board member and longtime friend of the organization before stepping into a more active leadership role. Prior to joining BPS, he spent nearly a decade at Spikeball Inc., where he focused on international business development and gained extensive experience building relationships and navigating diverse cultural contexts around the world.

Joel is deeply motivated by the opportunity to learn from global communities and support local leaders using soccer to create meaningful impact in the lives of youth. He has also participated in international coaching, study abroad, and volunteer service experiences in several countries. Joel, his wife Becca, and their two daughters live in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where they enjoy hiking, fly fishing, hospitality, and investing in their local community.

Director of Finance & Operations

Tom Rogers

Tom Rogers helps steward the financial and organizational health of Big Picture Soccer by leading day-to-day operations and building systems that support sustainable growth across the organization. Tom’s connection to the mission is rooted in his own experience growing up in values-driven soccer communities that shaped his character and development.

Before joining BPS in 2025, he spent six years working in international business operations at Spikeball Inc., where he developed experience managing systems, solving complex operational challenges, and supporting global growth initiatives. Tom is energized by the opportunity to help create lasting impact and bring hope to young people around the world through the game of soccer. He lives in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with his wife and son, and enjoys soccer, mountain adventures, good cider, and spending time laughing with his family.

Justin Watkins

Director of Fundraising

Justin Watkins leads Big Picture Soccer’s financial and relational partnerships, helping supporters connect with the mission. Drawn to BPS's vision and collaborative culture after consulting work, his passion for the mission stems from experiencing soccer's power to build connection during a trip to Lima, Peru.

Justin spent seven years leading underserved youth before moving into frontline fundraising, where he spent 11 years advancing the work of international development and social impact organizations. He spent two years coaching nonprofits on fundraising strategy through Seed Fundraisers before joining Big Picture Soccer full-time in 2026. Justin is passionate about helping youth recognize their value and potential and exploring how generosity transforms communities and supporters. He and his wife, Jenna, live in Willow Street, Pennsylvania, with their four children. He enjoys fitness, basketball, coaching lacrosse, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
